Festival Season Update: Where Evelyn Is Screening Next
Spring festival season is in full swing, and Evelyn continues making waves. Here's what's next for Four Olives Productions and why every screening matters.

Spring festival season is in full swing, and EVELYN continues to make waves on the circuit. If you’ve been following our journey, you know that taking a film from script to screen, and ultimately to festivals, is a marathon, not a sprint.

But damn… what a beautiful marathon it’s been.

Where Evelyn Is Screening Next

We’re excited to announce that EVELYN has been selected for three more festivals this spring. Each screening brings new audiences, new conversations, and new connections with filmmakers who truly understand what we’re doing. The indie film community is tight-knit, and every festival starts to feel like coming home - surrounded by people who understand the grind.

What stands out most at these screenings isn’t just the audience reaction during the film, it’s what happens after. The Q&A sessions. The conversations in the lobby. The emails we receive days later from people who can’t stop thinking about the story.

That’s when you know you’ve made something that matters.

The Reality of Festival Life

Let's be real: festivals are exhausting. You're constantly pitching, networking, attending panels, and trying to make every screening count. But they're also where the magic happens. Where distributors start take notice. Where press coverage starts building momentum. Where you meet the collaborators for your next project.

For Four Olives Productions, every festival is a chance to prove that Philadelphia can produce world-class cinema. We're not waiting for Hollywood to give us permission. We're building our own path, one screening at a time.

What's Next for Four Olives

While EVELYN continues its festival run, we’re already deep in development on our next projects. The success of Sacrum Vindictae III on Amazon Prime showed us there’s an audience hungry for the stories we tell. The streaming numbers continue to grow, and that validation fuels everything we’re building next.

But we’re not just filmmakers - we’re storytellers who happen to use film as our medium. Every project we take on has to pass one simple test: does it say something worth saying? Does it challenge audiences? Does it reflect the grit and authenticity of where we come from?

If the answer is yes, we’re all in.

Behind the Curtain

People always ask what the hardest part of indie filmmaking is. The answer changes depending on the day. Some days it's the funding. Some days it's the logistics of coordinating a hundred moving parts. Some days it's just fighting the voice in your head that says maybe you should have gone the traditional route.

But then you sit in a dark theater and watch strangers react to your film. You see them lean forward during the tense moments. You hear them laugh at the beats you hoped would land. You watch them sit in silence as the credits roll, processing what they just experienced.

That's why we do this.

Not for the red carpets or the awards (though those are nice). We do it because we have stories that need to be told, and we're willing to fight like hell to tell them right.
